wood chopping as fundraiser

GreenAngels Wood Choppers

Don’t ever think that one person can’t make a difference!

Eight years ago, Greenangels started a foundation to raise money for local charities, mostly on the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, right in the heart of the Salish Sea. What began with one man, Dave Howe, chopping wood to help out those who needed it, grew into a wonderful group of retired, dedicated men who got together a few times a week to chop and sell cords of wood to raise money for many local organizations. It is truly community driven. Over the years this small group of choppers have raised over $100,000 with every penny donated to worthy causes.

Many good people are working towards a better world. Every step taken, big or small leaves an impression. Every hand extended to help another makes a difference. Every good deed, every kind word, every cord of wood, in the case of the choppers, makes the world a better place.

Think you can’t make a difference? Think again!
