Greenangels Woodchoppers West

UPDATE: December 20/20

Angel Gwen, Tsawout First Nation, first suggested we take a load of Cedar to Randy, Tsartlip FN, who has broken his hips twice and is becoming a bit forgetful. That last point led him to going down his ramp(from the front door) with his canes to feed the birds. His daughter found him lying in the Garden.

When the Sr Angel, Ina, saw the wet ramp(helping unload the Cedar) she immediately suggested roofing shingles for the 12’ramp.

Open Door Youth Services Centre

The Open Door Youth Services Centre helps people 24 and under to meet their basic needs. The Open Door is fully equipped to support youth in a multitude of ways: we provide a safe space for youth to shower, laundry facilities, a nurse on site with no appointment needed. Prescriptions are available, and we also offer some paediatric care for youth mothers. Youth are invited to engage with caring staff who can connect them with other supports in the community.

Our vision is a community where all youth thrive. Threshold Housing Society works to prevent adult homelessness by providing safe housing, support services, and community to at-risk youth.
