Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Gabriola Agricultural Association

We will act to protect, maintain and nourish the integrity of Gabriola’s natural environment. We support responsible growing practices that protect the earth, water and air.

We believe in fostering local, safe and nutritionally superior food systems to reduce negative impacts on our environment, decrease consumption of fossil fuels and lessen packaging waste.

Zero Waste Emporium

We are a family owned, community-oriented company in Victoria, BC and Victoria's FIRST Zero Waste grocery store. We aim to reduce the number of single-use products that end up in the landfill, or worse yet, in the ocean.  We are promoting ecological awareness by offering customers reliable, sustainably sourced products that will help you reduce your environmental footprint and empower your Zero Waste lifestyle.  And now we offer local food completely package-free!

Level Ground Trading

Since 1997, we’ve been all about connection. It started with small-scale coffee farmers in Colombia, and it’s grown to a community of like-minded people connected by the belief that our choices matter.

When you enjoy this coffee, good things happen.

Bahamas Plastic Movement

Bahamas Plastic Movement believes that through research, education, citizen science & policy change, we can create a healthy marine and terrestrial environment free of plastic pollution.

United Nations

Due to the powers vested in its Charter and its unique international character, the United Nations can take action on the issues confronting humanity in the 21st century, such as peace and security, climate change, sustainable development, human rights, disarmament, terrorism, humanitarian and health emergencies, gender equality, governance, food production, and more.
