Christmas Cheer

Although it's been a difficult year for many, there have also been moments of light and loveliness. There have always been good people and good organizations that continue to work year after year to lighten the load that others carry. But this past year in particular, the load has been heavier and harder to bear. The isolation and loneliness have taken a toll, mentally and physically. The shutdown of businesses and loss of employment have led to anger and arguments and even violence.

Warm Greetings from Greenangels

Warm Greetings from us at Greenangels

At the end of this unusual and unsettling year, we hope there have been moments of light in your life. For us, staying close to home has given us a measure of contentment and helped us to appreciate the simpler joys, the small acts of kindness and the considerations shown us by others. There have been irritations and anger and sadness but there has been much warmth and love and togetherness.

'Be kind, be calm, be safe'....those words will long be remembered and what better time of year to repeat them.

West Coast Environmental Law

West Coast Environmental Law harnesses the power of law to solve complex environmental challenges.

We are transforming environmental decision-making and strengthening legal protection for the environment through collaborative legal strategies that bridge Indigenous and Canadian law.

By putting the law in the hands of communities and creating legal risk for those who would harm our land, air and water, we are building the collective power to achieve a more just and sustainable future for all.
